Travel Consultants
As a travel consultant, you will have excellent product knowledge, questioning and listening skills to help our customers plan, choose and successfully book their holidays. Working as part of a team you will drive business through social media, events and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Identifying and meeting customers’ needs
- Use social media to promote offers, generating customer engagement and sales leads
- Participating in promotional events and activities to increase exposure of the branch
- Achieving individual and team sales targets
What we are looking for in a Travel Consultant:
- Ability to work towards individual and team sales targets
- Excellent communication skills and customer service experience
- Enthusiasm and positive attitude with a commitment to contribute to the growth of the business
- At least 1 year experience as a Travel Consultant
- A proven sales record
- Passionate about travel and tourism
- Excellent travel product knowledge with a good working knowledge of tour operator systems
- Customer focussed
- Team player
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills
Foreign Exchange Consultants
Our Foreign Exchange Consultants are responsible for ensuring the profitability of the foreign exchange bureau. Whilst dealing with the day-to-day operation of the bureau, increasing its exposure and developing new business leads with a view to achieving your sales targets.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Ensuring profitability of foreign exchange bureau
- Achieving foreign exchange sales targets
- Converting Travel House customers to purchase
- Maximising individual and team sales of foreign exchange
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Increasing exposure of bureau and developing new business leads
- Monitoring local competition and managing rates
- Monitoring stock levels of foreign currency
- Accurate cash reconciliation and banking
- Responsibility for security of the bureau

Branch Managers
As a Branch Manager, you will lead a retail branch, inspire your team, and together deliver exceptional service to customers to make their holiday dreams a reality.
You will share your expertise to support, develop, train and guide your team to the best they can be. After all, it is our branches exceptional customer service, expert industry knowledge and genuine passion that our customers return for- time and time again.
Being a Branch Manager at Travel House, you will:

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will support and inspire your team, and together deliver exceptional service to customers to make their holiday dreams a reality. You will share your expertise to support, develop, train and guide your team to the best they can be.

- Assist with the overall profitability of your branch by maximising all sales
- Support the branch manager with coaching and developing your team
- Increase the exposure of your branch through developing new business leads and maximise social media to promote offers, generating customer engagement and sales
- Oversee and support your team members performance
- Actively promote your branch within the local community
What we are looking for in our Assistant Branch Managers at Travel House:

If you’ve always dreamed of a career in travel, but due to a lack of previous experience within the industry, you've never pursued this; then our New to Travel Programme is the path for you!
This programme is open to candidates who are target-driven, with a passion for travel, and have one year’s sales or target experience. You’ll receive intensive virtual classroom training; where you’ll learn all about our systems, products, and destinations, before joining a branch near you.
