The MS Douro Splendour is a five-star, fully air-conditioned river cruise ship built with modern technology and an environmental focus. It was specifically designed to navigate the five locks of the Douro River.

All cabins on the MS Douro Splendour are finished to a high standard. They feature polished wooden furniture, fine fabrics, and a choice of twin beds that can be moved together. Each cabin has a sparkling marble bathroom, a living area with two chairs and a desk, and amenities like individually controlled air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a safe, and tea and coffee making facilities. Cabins on the Upper and Main decks have full, floor-to-ceiling windows that slide down halfway. The Superior and Deluxe Balcony Suites on the Upper Deck also include an outside balcony.
