Overview
Prepare to be dazzled by the paradise beaches of Port Stephens and stop to admire Byron Bay's iconic lighthouse as you travel along the stunning Gold Coast to Brisbane. Your next destination is Cairns, where you'll board a catamaran for a thrilling cruise on the Great Barrier Reef. More iconic sights await in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, with sunrise and sunset visits to the giant monolith Uluru within your reach, as well as the chance to view Aboriginal rock art. You'll then travel to Adelaide, here a tour is followed by a tasting of wines in the famed Barossa Valley. Take a scenic journey along the spectacular Great Ocean Road to Melbourne and opt to visit Phillip Island to watch the charming penguin parade.
Itinerary
✓ Day 1 and 2 - Fly to Sydney
✓ Day 3 - Spend today at leisure in Sydney
✓ Day 4 - Included sightseeing tour of Sydney including the world famous Harbour Bridge and Opera House as well as Bondi Beach, Hyde Park and Darling Harbour. Plus, a welcome drink and dinner.
✓ Day 5 - Optional excursion through the Blue Mountains and a visit to Scenic World.
✓ Day 6 - Spend a day at leisure or choose between a number of optional excursions. Either take a guided Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb ot a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House.
✓ Day 7 - Journey along the coast and head to Port Stephens.
✓ Day 8 - Take the road again and make your way along the coast to Byron Bay before continuing along the gold coast to Brisbane
✓ Day 9 - Spend today at leisure in Brisbane or join an optional excursion to North Stradbroke Islands.
✓ Day 10 - Enjoy a morning tour of Brisbane before flying to Cairns; the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.
✓ Day 11 - Explore a whole new world on an included trip bu catamaran to the outer Great Barrier Reef.
✓ Day 12 - Spend a day at leisure in Cairns or ride of the Kuranda Railway to see the Atherton Tablelands.
✓ Day 13 - Take a well deserved rest or to explore more that Cairns has to offer.
✓ Day 14 - Fly to Ayers Rock situated in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
✓ Day 15 - Visit Uluru at sunrise and journey to the outback of Alice Springs and attend an Aussie bush barbecue.
✓ Day 16 - Fly to Adelaide.
✓ Day 17 - Tour Adelaide's main highlights, including the cricket and football stadium. Continue to the Barossa Valley; famous for its wine.
✓ Day 18 - Depart Adelaide and travel further along the coast to Warranambool
✓ Day 19 - Journey to Melbourne
✓ Day 20 - Enjoy a tour of Melbourne including Federation Square, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Flinders Street Station and the Grand Prix Circuit.
