Overview

One big pool, a kids’ club and waterslides for little ones mean this place has plenty going for it on the family-friendly front. What’s more, the 24-hour snack bar will keep hungry tummies at bay.

When it comes to mealtimes, you’ve got a buffet and three à la cartes. Plus, you can use three of the à la carte restaurants at a neighbouring hotel for even more choice. Location-wise, there’s a sandy beach a 10-minute shuttle bus ride away. And, for daytrips, a 40-minute drive gets you to Playa del Carmen.

Food & Drink

Dinner is taken care of by the buffet, which puts on theme nights, and three à la cartes. Chefs cook teppanyaki-style at the Asian restaurant. There’s also an Italian place that does pizza and pasta, as well as regional dishes like ricotta panzerotti – a savoury pancake dish. You'll also find a gourmet eatery that serves classy French cuisine. You can also book a table at three of the à la carte restaurants at the neighbouring Bahia Principe Grand Tulum Hotel.

The nightlife centre is the Hacienda Doña Isabel, a mock 16th-century colonial building. It’s home to a sports bar. And every Thursday night, it hosts a real Mexican fiesta*. You’ll find a couple of lounge bars which are good for a quiet drink. Or there’s a piano bar with live music each night.
