This place has relaxation down to a fine art – there’s a pair of pools, each with sun terraces dotted with palm trees and sunbeds. Plus, a poolside cocktail bar is on hand. Down on the beach, a spa serves up a hydro-spa pool and al fresco massages with sea views. Even the activities go slow – yoga is on the cards.
Room Facilities
Rooms go classic Thai, with cream walls, tiled floors and carved wooden furniture. Big beds, tea and coffee facilities, and a balcony or terrace all come as standard. Rooms sleep up to three, with single rooms also available. For a bit of luxury, upgrade to a deluxe room with limited sea views.
Food, Drink & Entertainment
The two sand-side restaurants make the most of their beachfront address, with first-rate sea views. The Beach Restaurant serves up Thai and Western dishes, while the Seaside Kitchen is a seafood grill joint. Head to this hotel’s sister resort, Sunwing Bangtao Beach, and you can choose from a further two restaurants.
There’s a hotel bar for evening drinks. And getting out and about is a cinch – there’s a hotel shuttle bus* to the centre of Phuket and to the nearby party town of Patong.
