Itinerary

Ziller Valley Train: On July 31st, 1902, the narrow-gauge steam train made its first run from Jenbach to Mayrhofen. Nearly closed in 1965, it was saved and still runs through the scenic Ziller Valley. Enjoy a nostalgic ride with schnapps and folk music, then visit a traditional cheese dairy for a tour and tasting of Tyrolean cheese.

Krimml Waterfalls: Begin your day at the stunning Krimml Waterfalls, Europe’s highest, with a dramatic 380-meter drop. Then travel to Mittersill to board the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn, a scenic narrow-gauge railway winding through the picturesque Salzburg Alps to Zell am See.

✓ Achen Railway & Boat: Ride the 130-year-old steam-powered Achensee Cog Railway from Jenbach to the scenic Achensee Lake, a nostalgic journey with locomotives like Hannah and Georg. Then enjoy a relaxing boat trip from Pertisau to Scholastika, with time for a lakeside stroll before heading back to your hotel.

Innsbruck: Explore Innsbruck, the charming capital of Tyrol, set against the stunning Northern Chain Mountains. On a guided tour, see highlights like the Golden Roof, Hofkirche, the Hofburg palace, and Maria Theresien Street. After an optional Austrian lunch and free time to explore, visit Swarovski Crystal Worlds—an enchanting blend of art, history, and nature. Don’t miss the magical “Wunderkammer,” the crystal cloud of 800,000 hand-set crystals, and the beautiful gardens with a café offering memorable treats.
