Itinerary
✓ Day 1 - Fly to Quito, the capital of Ecuador.
✓ Day 2 - Transfer to your hotel before a welcome drink and dinner with your fellow travellers.
✓ Day 3 - Explore Quito with a visit to the lively Mercado Iñaquito to sample local fruits, followed by a guided tour of the city’s historic landmarks and plazas.
✓ Day 4 - Today’s trip explores the Mindo Cloud Forest, starting with close encounters with dozens of hummingbird species at Alambi Cloud Forest, followed by a visit to El Quetzal de Mindo.
✓ Day 5 - This morning features a visit to a butterfly garden with over 1,000 species, followed by a stop at the Equator’s Intiñan Museum.
✓ Day 6 - Today you'll fly to the Galapagos Islands, where our adventure begins on Santa Cruz with a visit to a private highlands ranch to see giant tortoises and native birds.
✓ Day 7 - After a relaxed morning, travel by boat to Isabela Island and the town of Puerto Villamil.
✓ Day 8 - Enjoy a relaxing morning or take an optional snorkeling trip to Los Tuneles to explore lava tunnels filled with marine life.
✓ Day 9 - Today, you'll hike up the active Sierra Negra volcano, spotting unique highland birds and taking in spectacular caldera views.
✓ Day 10 - This morning, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about giant tortoise conservation and see the preserved Lonesome George.
✓ Day 11: Today, cruise along San Cristóbal’s coast to Kicker Rock, spotting seabirds and snorkeling among rays, turtles, sharks, and sea lions, before enjoying lunch on board and relaxing at a secluded beach accessible only by boat.
✓ Day 12: Enjoy a leisurely final morning in the Galapagos before flying back to Quito, where you can relax at the hotel and share a final dinner with your group.
✓ Day 13: The holiday concludes with visits to Otavalo’s vibrant market and Cotacachi’s leather shops for souvenirs, followed by a farewell dinner to celebrate and reflect on the trip.
