The Puente Real Hotel is just seconds away from Playamar beach. Or, hop in a cab and you’ll reach Malaga’s lively shopping streets in 20 minutes.
Neatly-clipped trees and sunbeds line the two pools. After sundown, you can pile your plate high at the buffet restaurant before watching a show.
Think Torremolinos, think beach and lapping surf. Imagine dipping your feet in the tide or building a spectacular sand castle on the golden, sandy beach. Alternatively, it’s a suitable location to put your trainers on and go for a jog, enjoying the coastline as you go. With swaying palm trees rustling in the background, this provides a lovely background to your break.

There are two pools, plus a separate kids’ pool. Elsewhere on the terrace there’s a snack bar. Indoors, the buffet restaurant serves local and international cuisine and you can order a hot drink in the cafe. Another pair of restaurants deals in Italian and fusion cuisine – if booked on AI Gold you can dine at these additional eateries. Sports-wise you can choose from tennis, ping pong and archery. The multisport court is the setting for basketball or football, and there’s a gym, too.
Room Facilities
Rooms here come with a TV, mini-fridge, hairdryer, a balcony or terrace and a safe. If you choose a superior room, you'll have partial sea views, plus water and wine on arrival.
Food, Drink & Entertainment
You can pick from a buffet spread of fruit and pastries. Evening meals are kept varied, with different meat, fish and pasta dishes every night. If you're booked on AI Gold you can also dine in La Farfalla, a modern Italian place that has top-notch sea views. Or, take a seat in the Be Blue Restaurant where fusion cuisine is served with cocktails on the terrace.
After dark, live music and dance shows occupy the outdoor stage from June 'til September. Torremolinos isn’t far away – jump in a taxi and you’ll be among the bars and restaurants in just 10 minutes.
You can practise your serve on the tennis court or give archery a try. The multisport area sets you up for football or basketball, while more low-key activities include darts and ping pong. The hotel-run kids’ club organises games and activities for little ones.
