The Leaf Oceanside by Katathani
It’s all palm-lined pool days and massages on the sand at the Leaf Oceanside by Katathani, near the centre of Khao Lak.
Overview
This quiet hotel is just a five-minute stroll from the most popular beach in Khao Lak. So, you can shimmy down there to sink your toes into biscuit-coloured sand or go for dips in the Andaman Sea whenever you like. Back at base, a pair of sunlounger-lined outdoor pools are sheltered by tropical greenery – you’ll see pretty palms and leafy shrubs from your bed if you book a room with a balcony, too.
There’s more where that came from in terms of scenery. You can book in for a massage right on the beach, and the exercise bikes in the gym face out to the hotel gardens. It’s all quite idyllic when it comes to dining, too. There’s just one restaurant that looks out at the pool, and it plates up the likes of seafood salads and pad Thai. Khao Lak’s buzzy bars and eateries are just a 10-minute walk away if you fancy something different, too.
