Itinerary
✓ Day 1: UK - Naples - Sorrento Peninsula
Titan's nationwide shared chauffeur service collects you from your home for your flight to Naples. On arrival, transfer to your base for the week in Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, nestled in the middle of the Sorrento Peninsula.
✓ Day 2: Sorrento
Sorrento’s cobbled streets are filled with limoncello stands, gelato shops and street vendors. With a local guide, you’ll explore highlights including the 14th-century Chiostro di San Francesco and enjoy sea views from Sorrento Park, with Mount Vesuvius in the distance.
✓ Day 3: Pompeii
Today you’ll explore the archaeological ruins of Pompeii, a Roman town buried in AD 79 by a sudden eruption of Mount Vesuvius. The guided walking tour reveals daily life preserved under ash, with household items, shop signs and graffiti offering a vivid insight into ancient Roman customs, art and trades.
✓ Day 4: Amalfi Coast
Brace yourself for one of the world’s most spectacular drives along Italy’s Amalfi Coast, a 50km stretch of stunning coastline from Sorrento to Salerno. The first stop is Positano, with its pastel houses clinging to the cliffs. From there, you’ll take a boat to Amalfi for a sea view of the coastline, before returning to Sorrento by boat.
✓ Day 5: Sorrento Peninsula
Today is at leisure to explore SantʼAgata sui Due Golfi or travel to Sorrento by shuttle (extra charge) or local bus. Alternatively, you can join an optional excursion to Mount Vesuvius, followed by a wine tasting and light lunch at a winery on its fertile slopes, sampling the local Lacrima Christi wine.
✓ Day 6: Capri
You’ll journey to the “jewel of the Bay of Naples,” the island of Capri. Approaching by private boat, you’ll see its limestone cliffs rising from the blue sea. A private guided boat tour reveals the island from the water, before a local Capri guide accompanies you by funicular to Capri town to explore its sights.
✓ Day 7: Sorrento Peninsula
Spend your final day at leisure. This evening you’ll head into Sorrento for a traditional farewell dinner at a local restaurant on Sorrento Pier, with beautiful sea views to complement the famous sunset.
