We’ll take things at a leisurely pace, so you can fully appreciate each stop - there’ll be time to meet kangaroos and koalas in Adelaide and to relax on Queensland’s famous beaches.

Itinerary

✓ Day 1: UK - In flight
Titan's nationwide shared chauffeur service collects you from your home for your flight to Melbourne.

Day 2: In Flight

Day 3: Melbourne
Today is a free day to explore Melbourne's tram-crossed streets, historic shopping arcades and riverside parks.

Day 4: Dandenong Mountains - Melbourne
This morning explores the Dandenong Mountains, with forested scenery, winding waterways and the chance to spot native birdlife, including the lyrebird. An exciting ride on the historic Puffing Billy steam train follows, before an afternoon tour of Melbourne’s highlights, grand boulevards and parklands, including the famous Botanical Gardens.

Day 5: Phillip Island
This morning is at leisure, before an afternoon trip over to Phillip Island to spot the waddling parade of fairy penguins emerge from the sea and shuffle up Summerland Beach to their sand dune burrows. 

✓ Day 6: Melbourne
Today is free to spend as you please in Melbourne.

Day 7: Great Ocean Road - Warrnambool
The Great Ocean Road delivers one of Victoria’s most scenic coastal drives, winding past rainforests, cliffs, bays and dramatic ocean views. Highlights include Cape Otway and Port Campbell National Parks, with a stop to admire the iconic Twelve Apostles.

Day 8: Coonawarra - Murray River - Adelaide
Coonawarra, known for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, showcases a blend of long-standing wineries and new talent. Today includes a visit to a local winery for a tasting, followed by a scenic drive through pastoral countryside and orchards along the Murray River en route to Adelaide.

Day 9: Adelaide
Adelaide is a stylish, cultured city with Victorian streets, a vibrant music scene and hidden pubs. This morning includes a visit to Cleland Wildlife Park on Mount Lofty to see native animals, with the chance for a close-up koala encounter. Afterwards, the day continues with a city sightseeing tour.

Day 10: Adelaide
Enjoy a day to explore exactly as you please. 

Day 11: Adelaide - Alice Springs
Fly to Alice Springs today. On arrival, visit the Telegraph station and Anzac Hill.

Day 12: Alice Springs - Uluru
This morning includes a tour of the Royal Flying Doctor Service before travelling to Uluru, a World Heritage Site of deep cultural significance to First Nations people. Uluru, believed to be around 550 million years old, stands 348 metres tall with much of its mass hidden underground. The day concludes with a visit to the mesmerising Field of Light installation. (Excursion order may vary.)

Day 13: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
We return to Uluru early this morning to witness sunrise as the rock’s silhouette emerges against the sky, with the nearby Kata Tjuta (Olgas) visible to the west. The afternoon is free, followed by an unforgettable sunset at Uluru, where the rock glows orange and red as the sun sets.

Day 14: Cairns
Fly to Cairns, where the pace of life slows and the city has a relaxed, tropical vibe. Cairns serves as the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Tropical North Australia, where you’ll be based for the next few days.

✓ Day 15: Great Barrier Reef
Stretching along 200km of coastline, the Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest reef system, even visible from space. Beyond its size, it’s the rich ecosystem that makes it truly remarkable. Today you’ll head out on a catamaran to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, where you can view the coral from an underwater observatory or semi-submersible boat. Watch tropical fish dart among the reefs, and you’ll have the option to snorkel in the water if you wish (equipment provided).

Day 16: Cairns
Take a day to relax in tropical Queensland. Wander the promenade, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, or go shopping. Cairns also offers museums and galleries, including the aquarium showcasing marine life. Along the coast, there are plenty of golden-sand beaches to explore.

Day 17: Kuranda
You’ll ascend to Kuranda on the Skyrail, gliding above the rainforest canopy. In Kuranda, you’ll have free time to browse shops and cafés or visit the butterfly sanctuary. The charming Kuranda Railway Station features original wooden structures and tropical gardens. In the afternoon, you’ll take the scenic railway down the mountainside, a 34km route carved through tunnels, chasms and cascades, with a photo stop at Barron Falls before returning to Cairns.

Day 18: Cairns - Sydney
Today you’ll fly to Sydney, one of the world’s most iconic cities. Seeing the Opera House across the harbour is a true “pinch me” moment, and you’ll have plenty more to enjoy over the next few days. You’ll stay near Darling Harbour, a restored dockland area with a palm-lined promenade, a Chinese garden and the Sydney Aquarium nearby.

Day 19: Sydney
This morning you’ll take a city tour to see Sydney’s highlights, including the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and the Royal Botanical Gardens. In the afternoon, you’ll cruise the harbour for a different perspective, passing waterfront homes and enjoying closer views of the iconic skyline.

Day 20: Sydney
Today is at leisure. You might explore Sydney on foot, starting with the historic Rocks district, where Victorian charm meets shops, galleries and restaurants. Nearby Circular Quay offers excellent dining, and you can take a classic photo in front of the Opera House. A stroll through the Botanical Gardens and along Macquarie Street reveals grand colonial buildings, including the State Conservatory of Music, Parliament House and the Mint, all designed by Francis Greenway.

Day 21: Sydney
Another day at leisure. Sydney offers excellent shopping, especially along Pitt Street and George Street. Don’t miss the Queen Victoria Building, a stunning shopping centre with three floors of ornate shops, marble detailing and stained glass.

✓ Day 22: Sydney - In flight
Enjoy a last few hours at leisure in Sydney before your return flight to the UK.
