Wild Sri Lanka

Wild Sri Lanka

Wild Sri Lanka

Experience the untamed spirit of northern Sri Lanka — a place untouched by mass tourism. Spot elephants, leopards, lemurs and more in breathtaking national parks and discover the island’s sacred temples, tranquil beaches and hidden gems.

Overview

This journey isn't just about ticking off the highlights (although you'll do plenty of that; Colombo, Kandy and more) It's about seeing the whole island and discovering the staggering variety of wildlife that call it home. From the elusive leopard lounging in Wilpattu's trees to a furry sloth bear rustling through Yala's undergrowth, this is your chance to see these magnificent animals as they were meant to be seen: wild and free, in their native homes.

Here, langurs leap through the canyon, buffalo graze in the grasslands, elephants wander the landscapes, crocodiles glide silently through the water and birdlife galore!

But what truly sets this holiday apart is the north. For decades, this region was closed off due to civil war. Now its doors are open and we're among the few who go there.

This holiday is ideal for nature lovers, culture seekers and explorers who want to go beyond the usual to see a side of Sri Lanka that most travellers never do.
